Position Overview:
We're seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role is critical to driving sales growth by identifying customer needs, delivering tailored lighting solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in LED lighting sales and a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Respond promptly to incoming inquiries via phone, email, or other channels, and understand customer requirements to recommend appropriate LED lighting solutions.
- Site Visits & Assessments: Schedule and conduct on-site visits to evaluate customer needs and provide tailored solutions, performing detailed energy audits to recommend LED lighting systems that maximize efficiency and cost savings.
- Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling proposals, including ROI analyses, to showcase the benefits of LED lighting solutions, presenting product features, pricing, and benefits effectively to secure customer buy-in.
- Utility Rebates & Incentives: Research and assist customers in applying for utility rebates and incentives, staying updated on rebate programs and application processes to maximize customer benefits.
- Sales Execution: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by converting leads into closed deals, engaging in upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer value.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation of solutions, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, including customer interactions, proposals, and sales metrics.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the LED lighting industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of LED lighting systems, energy audits, and utility rebate processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and sustain client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate ROI and deliver data-driven sales proposals.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with contractors, distributors, or B2B sales.
- Background in energy-efficient solutions or similar industries.
