Role Description This role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications for Exact Sciences, creating expert design concepts and foolproof debugging. • Collect and analyze data to develop robust IT solutions that deliver advanced data analytics capabilities to the organization. • Develop database architectures to address business requirements, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability. • Design and document database applications such as interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, and data partitions to enable efficient access of the generic database structure. • Troubleshoot issues and problems of medium complexity for major software applications. • Initiate independent designs that impact and influence the department’s delivery and approach. • Lead reviewing design alternatives, problems, and solutions with an eye on limiting the need for later problem solving. • Contribute individual capabilities to the achievement of group objectives and work effectively with others in a group setting; this includes mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance for junior members of the team. • Build successful internal and external partnerships with peers, SMEs, stakeholders, and decision-makers. Qualifications • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related quantitative field. • Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in data engineering or related position. Requirements • Proficiency in Python • Proficiency in SQL • Experience with Spark • Experience with Databricks • Experience with AWS • Experience in Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) data pipelines • Experience in designing and implementing data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases • Knowledge of database architecture testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools • Utilizing Big Data file formats (Parquet and Delta Lake) • Utilizing agile development tools (JIRA and Confluence repository) Benefits • Salary: $113,850 - $193,200 per year Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
