Job Overview:
Chamberlain University, a renowned institution with a 130-year history, is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our team in Pasadena, CA. As a part-time instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of nursing by educating and mentoring students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service
- Plan and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students in clinical settings
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student learning needs
- Grade assignments and provide timely feedback
- Maintain current knowledge of agency/clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Master's (MSN) or doctoral degree (DNP/PhD) in nursing from a regionally accredited institution
- Unencumbered professional nursing license in California
- At least three years of professional experience in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Teaching or precepting experience preferred but not required
- Clinical skills competency verification and annual self-assessment of clinical nursing skills
