Role Overview

  • Location: Remote (must live within 2 hours of our office in Camden, New Jersey)
  • Start Date: Immediate openings available (training class begins on December 2nd, 2024)

As a Remote Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing exceptional service via telephone, correspondence, and other customer service channels. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling inbound calls, clarifying customer needs, and resolving issues efficiently and completely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries with courtesy and professionalism
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently and completely
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, meeting or exceeding business expectations
  • Handle difficult calls and avoid escalation whenever possible
  • Enter call notes into customer records and maintain a high level of application, process, and water and wastewater utility knowledge
  • Continuously improve call handling skills, systems knowledge, and communications skills to enhance customer service levels

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a related business environment and customer service
  • High school diploma or state-recognized Educational Equivalency Certificate
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent customer service and team orientation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient typing and personal computing skills
