Job Description:

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Soar Autism Center, you will play a vital role in designing and executing naturalistic occupational therapy sessions, developing targeted interventions, and fostering strong partnerships with families. Our interdisciplinary clinics provide comprehensive support services, early intervention, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences tailored to each child's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute occupational therapy sessions for children aged 2-6 years, focusing on gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding abilities, and daily activities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including ABA, speech therapy, and psychology
  • Conduct co-treatments with speech therapy teams and provide coaching and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Monitor client progress, revise treatment plans, and ensure effective communication with team members and families
  • Forge strong partnerships with families, setting collaborative goals, and offering dedicated coaching and support

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders
  • Strong understanding of early intervention and integrated care approaches
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting children with autism
