Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of calls (75+ calls/shift) using a multi-line phone, providing top-notch patient support and scheduling appointments for multiple clinical sites
  • Gather and input patient demographic and insurance information into our practice management system with precision and accuracy
  • Document call activity, outcomes, and other notes as needed in our client system, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet departmental goals and objectives, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
  • Report complex clinical issues to supervisors or client partners, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex situations with ease
  • Assist callers in navigating resources and provide empathetic support, making a positive impact on patients' lives

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle high-volume inbound calls with ease
  • Strong internet speed and reliable access to a router via Ethernet cord (minimum 20mbps download and 6mbps upload)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Reliable and consistent attendance, with a strong commitment to meeting performance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience, with knowledge of EMR systems and scheduling software (Cerner EMR experience a plus)
  • Call center experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional patient support
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate complex systems with ease
