Senior Scrum Master - Remote Opportunity in Medical Devices or Healthcare Industry

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely with a leading Medical Devices Company. As a seasoned agile practitioner, you will play a key role in guiding teams in applying agile principles and methodologies to deliver business processes and technology solutions related to Medication Management Solutions (MMS). Job Summary:

The Scrum Master will facilitate the continuous delivery of business processes and technology solutions, working closely with leaders, stakeholders, and project team members to prioritize work, manage dependencies, and contribute to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience in agile project management, cross-functional program management, and a strong understanding of agile principles and methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate key ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Demos, and Retrospectives to ensure smooth sprint progression
  • Assist in identifying and managing project dependencies and risks within the team
  • Drive improvements in team performance and efficiency, focusing on delivering value and enhancing the agile delivery process
  • Contribute to improving agile practices by participating in continuous learning opportunities, coaching team members, and suggesting process enhancements
  • Collaborate with other teams on projects that require coordination across multiple capabilities and features
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them grow in their agile roles

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of experience managing software development projects, with 3+ years in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Hybrid)
  • 5+ years of cross-functional program/project management experience with significant focus on dependency management, risk management, and resource/vendor management
  • Experience with Agile Project Management Applications (e.g., Jira, Rally, VersionOne)
  • Experience working in a service organization and/or the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus
