Remote Veterinary Support Specialist - Work from Home Opportunity
We are seeking compassionate and experienced non-credentialed veterinary technicians to join our team as Remote Veterinary Support Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to incoming cases via telephone or chat, providing accurate medical, health, and safety information to pet owners, and documenting each case in an electronic record. You will also be required to triage cases, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality of client information. We offer a range of schedules, including full-time and part-time opportunities, with varying shifts to accommodate your needs.
Our available positions include:
- Overnight Veterinary Information Specialist I: Respond to incoming cases overnight, providing support to pet owners and veterinary professionals.
- Veterinary Information Specialist I: Respond to incoming cases during the day, providing support to pet owners and veterinary professionals.
- Veterinary Industry Representative I: Respond to incoming cases, providing support to pet owners and veterinary professionals, and documenting each case in an electronic record.
Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience performing veterinary technician duties in a veterinary facility.
- Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Above average proficiency with keyboarding, PCs, Microsoft Office, and common computer software and hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data with minimal errors.
