Part-Time Montessori Teacher (K-5) - Downtown Nashville
Job Summary:
Join our team at Catapult Learning and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students! We are seeking a qualified and experienced Montessori teacher to provide part-time instruction to students in grades K-5 at a Montessori school in downtown Nashville. As an Intervention Teacher, you will work with small groups of students to address their identified skill deficits in Reading and Math, utilizing a prescribed curriculum and gradual release model of instruction.Key Job Details:

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12pm-4pm (20 hours per week)
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
Responsibilities:
- Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention
- Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies
- Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines
- Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences
- Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Teaching Certificate preferred
- Montessori School training/experience preferred
- Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience
- Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred
