About the Role:

This role requires a strong and diverse skillset in incident response, computer forensics, and network security. As a Principal Consultant - Incident Response, you'll lead incident response engagements, develop and implement new methods to hunt for bad actors, and work with customers to investigate and remediate cyber threats. You'll also have the opportunity to demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, public speaking events, and other channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead incident response engagements and investigations
  • Develop and implement new methods to hunt for bad actors across large datasets
  • Conduct host and network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
  • Perform basic malware analysis and reverse engineering
  • Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, and recommendations for customers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, public speaking events, and other channels

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in incident response, computer forensics, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and cloud incident response methodologies
  • Experience with incident remediation, threat hunting, and malware analysis
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
