Student Achievement Strategist - English Language Arts (Grades K-2)

Job Summary: The Student Achievement Strategist will work closely with teachers and schools to identify and implement strategies that increase student achievement. This will involve instructional coaching, professional development, core-subject knowledge teaching, data-use training, and technology tools training. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and principals to identify instructional strategies that accelerate student achievement
- Provide real-time instructional coaching and professional development to enhance teacher content knowledge and effective use of instructional strategies
- Engage with teachers to use student data to develop rigorous lesson plans and differentiate instruction for various student groups
- Coordinate and deliver training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators in ELL strategies
- Monitor and demonstrate how to align instructional materials, district curriculum, and AZ College and Career Readiness Standards
- Research and identify best practices for differentiating instructional strategies to support interventions
- Coach teachers to effectively integrate technology and use blended learning models
- Guide teachers to effectively use district online assessments and data to inform instruction
Requirements:
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid AZ teacher's certificate
- Valid Arizona English As A Second Language (ESL) or Bilingual Endorsement preferred
- Five years of successful experience teaching English Language Learners preferred
- Experience with diverse student populations
- Knowledge and experience in Scientifically Based Research (SBR) instructional strategies and programs
- Knowledge of blended learning models preferred
- Experience using a variety of technological tools preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with all staff
