About the Role:

As a Human Resources Consultant, you'll provide expert support to clients on all HR matters, including compensation, benefits, payroll administration, policies, onboarding, off-boarding, recruiting, performance management, and employee relations. You'll ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and serve as a trusted HR contact for client stakeholders, internal HR teams, and employees.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic and practical plans to address human resources matters
  • Assessing clients' organizations, processes, and systems to recommend actions for compliance and automation
  • Developing and implementing policies, including state variations
  • Facilitating training content and webinars
  • Managing critical relationships with client representatives, including employees, management, and vendors

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of professional HR experience, with a focus on employment-related compliance knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of state and federal regulations, including COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and ADA
  • Certifications related to HR, Payroll, or Benefits (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, FPC, CPP, CEBS) are preferred
