About This Job:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years of experience in software development, hardware troubleshooting, or test engineering
- Experience working with security protocols/interaction, servers, or network hardware
- Experience with Python programming development, coding, input/output systems (I/O), and operating systems (OS)
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with operating system design and RAM scripting
- Experience with cloud platform software development
- Experience working in security or software development teams
- Experience in testing products for manufacturing, working with partner or contract manufacturing (ODM, OEM, JDM)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and define the security hardening process and provide guidance to Contract Manufacturers (North America)
- Collaborate with internal and partner engineers and managers to drive test and security improvements
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot security issues
- Manage operating system upgrades and offer support for periodic hardening updates, network security, remote access, and system administration of test stations
- Work with Python test scripts based on test specifications
- Perform root cause analysis of system test failures and implement remedial or preventive actions
