Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Engineering & Operations Excellence to design, develop, and implement global systems, solutions, processes, and decision science tools to reduce operating costs, increase revenue and profit, and improve service and solutions for our internal and external customers. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and enabling the growth and development of team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global frameworks, solutions, and processes to drive business excellence
  • Lead and manage high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth
  • Drive the development and implementation of work strategies, best practices, and job standards to ensure safety, compliance, and productivity
  • Collaborate with global partners to drive cross-regional advancement and process standardization
  • Ensure customer commitments are quantifiably measured and reported, and that continuous improvement tools are utilized to target areas where customer retention is at risk

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or other ASQ continuous improvement certification (e.g., FedEx QDM Master) strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in driving performance, management, and coordination of Cargowise into the global shipping systems landscape
  • Agile, PMP, or similar certification strongly preferred
  • Exhibited change management and project management experience driving operational excellence continuous improvement initiatives for cross-functional operations
  • Substantial related experience in managing and leading high-performing teams, improving processes, and transforming business operations
  • Solid industry knowledge, demonstrated effective leadership experience, human relations, and interpersonal skills required
