Job Summary
The Junior GIS Analyst will develop geographic data for assigned areas, design computer-generated maps and reports, and provide administrative support to local Dealmakers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned regions using MapInfo.
- Process requests and orders directly from Costco Operations for market strategy guides and display materials.
- Perform various project-specific tasks, including research and data representation.
- Provide administrative support to regional Dealmakers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., GIS, Geography, Computer Science).
- General knowledge of geographic data systems.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MapInfo.
- Certificate in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic data systems.
