Job Responsibilities
- Assist patients in resolving billing issues, handling complaints, and setting up payment plans
- Document customer complaints and interactions in the appropriate systems
- Track trends in customer service encounters and recommend resolutions to supervisors
- Provide training and support to new Customer Service Representative I colleagues
- Communicate and follow up with stakeholders on customer service activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Up to 3 years of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare setting
- Previous service or call center experience with strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a complex, multi-site environment
- Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
- Strong interpersonal skills in interacting with diverse customers
