Responsibilities

  • Work remotely with up to 45 clients, providing Controllership services and helping them make informed financial decisions
  • Read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, identifying areas of opportunity and potential problems
  • Meet with clients via Zoom or telephone to discuss financial performance, present options, and hold them accountable for taking agreed actions
  • Participate in quarterly group calls and team meetings for training and company-wide communication
  • Travel occasionally for live meetings and conferences (not required)

Requirements

  • Accounting or finance degree required
  • Strong background in financial and/or accounting roles
  • Ability to spot and explain financial trends and issues in plain English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with small businesses or law firms (not required)
  • Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks)

  • Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $132,600 per year

Physical Requirements and Travel

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are to be determined in conjunction with supervisor. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
