Job Title: Director of Content Production - Lead Creative Excellence at American Express
Job Description:
Join American Express as a Director of Content Production and lead the way in creating exceptional customer experiences through innovative content production. As a key member of our in-house creative agency, OnBrand, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Maker Studio, guiding a team of producers, editors, motion and 3D animators, and videographers to deliver high-quality creative assets that meet the highest standards of creative excellence.
In this role, you will push creative and technological limits to deliver seamless customer experiences across channels and end-to-end experiences in digital and beyond. You will contribute to positioning OnBrand as a thought leader in the content production space by actively participating with marketing partners and the creative department upstream in the process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead creative production across photo and video content creation, managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Maker Studio
- Ensure production work is in line with the creative brief and meeting client objectives
- Support and oversee the estimation of costs and turnaround times for creative concepts, working within the limitations of the overall project budget and deadlines
- Research and secure production resources, preparing production briefs and ensuring requirements are communicated to production houses and other approved vendors
- Develop and mentor all talent levels, contributing to the creation of budgets and timelines, and overseeing production schedules, costs, and scope
Minimum Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in production at an agency, production company, or similar environment
- 5 years of experience leading teams of producers and content creators
- Strong relationships with a large roster of trusted production vendors, contacts, and studios
- Ability to assess production needs and maintain composure in stressful situations
- Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills, with strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
