Key Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction and Analysis: Collect, cleanse, and analyze large datasets from various sources related to the Apple ecosystem, including user behavior, product performance, and market trends.
- Insight Generation: Identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to generate actionable insights that inform product development and strategic decision-making.
- Reporting and Visualization: Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate data findings to stakeholders across the organization.
- Data Modeling and Architecture: Contribute to the design and implementation of data models and data warehousing solutions to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to understand their data requirements and provide data-driven support.
- Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used for analysis and reporting.
- Innovation Support: Partner with product teams to analyze data and provide insights that fuel innovation and the development of new features and products.
- Ecosystem Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the Apple ecosystem, including its products, services, and user base.
- Stay Current: Continuously research and evaluate new data analysis techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related role.
- Proven experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling and data mining techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Understanding of the Apple ecosystem and its products and services is highly desirable.
