About the Role: As a Bill of Materials Development Analyst, you will be responsible for confirming and analyzing bills of materials to drive cost reduction and provide cost structure insights. You will work closely with our Enterprise Vehicle Profit and Cost Analysis department to achieve vehicle profitability and return on sales targets. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating activities related to establishing standard bills of materials (BoM) for one or more plants and analyzing BoM usage variance monthly in compliance with SOX
  • Managing and performing multiple vehicles' direct material cost of BoM analysis through the product life cycle
  • Partnering across the A&F division and with Toyota's North American Manufacturing Companies (NAMCs) teams to identify and drive cost reduction/incremental enterprise profit opportunities
  • Supporting testing, implementation, and process development for SAP at one or more plants
  • Providing training, guidance, and support to NAMCs related to PBM, Price Study, Standard Costing

What You Bring: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent analytical degree and background
  • Significant experience in Manufacturing Cost Analysis, including experience with building, analyzing, and reviewing complex Bills of Materials (BoM)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on creating, managing, and manipulating large data sets in Excel
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations to various levels of management

Added Bonus: If you have an MBA, CPA, or direct experience maintaining and analyzing Toyota vehicle Bills of Materials (BoM) using the eBoM system, you will be highly competitive for this role. Experience leading cross-functional teams and proficiency in OneStream, SAP, eBoM, Power BI, and Toyota mainframe systems are also highly desirable.
