Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the maintenance and operation of aircraft and related equipment. You will also establish and maintain aircraft and component standards within areas of responsibility.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting training for technicians in areas of expertise
  • Serving as a mentor to other engineers
  • Leading teams and coordinating project management or issue resolution
  • Collaborating with manufacturers and regulatory authorities as required
  • Creating customized procedures and special instructions for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance activities
  • Staying informed about daily airline operations and reviewing daily needs to ensure compliance with aircraft/departmental targets and management directives
  • Analyzing aircraft/component issues and determining corrective actions
  • Providing engineering support to resolve issues and restore operational status
  • Creating action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and component engineering projects
  • Coordinating with other airline departments to ensure effective and efficient implementation of engineering procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Previous Professional Experience: 1 year of engineering experience in a related field or 2 years of experience without a degree
  • Skills, Licenses, and Certifications: A&P license, knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to analyze technical data and make informed decisions
