Remote Front End Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

Job Summary
As a Remote Front End Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for entering new prescriptions, processing exceptions, and making contact with physician offices and patients. You will also assist in back-end efforts, such as picking, packing, and manifesting, as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Provide pharmacist call back and patient quality assurance support
 - Enter patient demographics and prescriptions into our data processing system
 - Work with new patient and referral imaging folders
 - Load insurance plans and coordinate benefits for new patients and referrals
 - Participate in the review and audit of test claims
 - Handle processing of reorders and email distribution as needed
 - Provide primary support and expertise for specialized programs
 - Perform other registered and licensed responsibilities as required

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
 - Active pharmacy technician license or certification
 - 1 year of experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or call center settings
 - Basic knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office Suite, and similar operating software programs
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
 - Ability to communicate in a diplomatic and confidential manner
 
Salary and Benefits
