Senior Analyst, Program Management (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst, Program Management to join our team at Aetna. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving cross-enterprise and specialty unit initiatives, managing complex projects, and developing innovative solutions to improve our care delivery models. This is a remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.

Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Program Management will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of framework and process activities, including planning, coordination, and requirement development. You will provide analysis, design, and other supporting materials, and build relationships with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, and able to challenge existing approaches to continuously improve and enhance our care delivery models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project and program initiatives, including required analysis, gap identification, and resolution, reporting, and presentation materials
  • Create and deliver requirements to support business needs, as well as support client acceptance testing needs resulting from progress
  • Solicit and evaluate internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement
  • Build communication plans for implementation to ensure all affected parties are informed of next steps for completion
  • Provide thought leadership in support of business strategy, supporting leaders with organization and delivery of project work
  • Participate in or manage innovative development initiatives, driving and directing engagement from key stakeholders using a disciplined and repeatable project process
  • Facilitate communication, training, workflow updates required for process as well as system changes
  • Conduct impact analysis of system changes to business operations
  • Monitor and report on performance relative to newly implemented processes or technology
  • Conduct research related to business issues and aid in the development of workarounds and communications of identified issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience required
  • 3+ years of experience with system and process development, including admission management, design, optimization, impact analysis, and Client Acceptance Testing
  • 3+ years of experience in Government Healthcare/Medicaid
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Project management insight with an emphasis on product or program planning and execution, ideally in a health plan or healthcare setting
  • Ability to advance and ideate solutions to operational challenges
  • Demonstrated experience effectively implementing change in complex organizations, including the development of show and support materials to implement strategy initiatives, program scaling, and change management
  • Experience using analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in the use of Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and QuickBase

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Knowledge of internal systems, such as ATV, MedCompass, Dynamo, or Salesforce, is preferred
  • Systems knowledge or higher
