Lead DevOps and Delivery Management - Remote Opportunity ($30/Hour)

In this role, you will be part of the "Examination and Conduct Change" group, responsible for planning, creating, and conveying programming applications that enable business clients to work more efficiently and effectively. As a Lead DevOps and Delivery Management professional, you will lead the delivery of complex features within the Guaranteeing Stage, a software application that serves financial clients from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) specialty unit.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Endorsing Change Products are delivered on time and of high quality. You will work on various delivery activities for multiple applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize value. Your role is crucial in ensuring that critical requirements and features are delivered into production, supporting business endorsing and other financial cycles, and ultimately impacting the end-users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex features within the Guaranteeing Stage software application
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize value
  • Ensure that Endorsing Change Products are delivered on time and of high quality
  • Work on various delivery activities for multiple applications

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven history with at least 10 years of experience in DevOps data platform development, preferably in a senior or lead capacity
  • Experience working in public cloud environments, GCP (preferred)/Azure/AWS, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating resource provisioning and configuration
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or similar
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex DevOps platform issues and provide effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions) to ensure application performance and system health
  • Understanding of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure configuration practices
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding junior developers, is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
