Senior Business Specialist - Remote Opportunity ($25/Hour)

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing specific expectations related to operations and activities as part of a team assigned to business-supported projects. You will be a key contributor to overall project success, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive results. This position may require travel up to 10% of the time, with mileage reimbursed according to our company's expense reimbursement policy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating functional and administrative activities related to operations and other business-supported projects
 - Overseeing and resolving complex issues and data problems, answering critical business questions
 - Coordinating data between the health plan database and external vendors and internal business systems
 - Participating in data compromise and information projects
 - Consistently performing analysis and translating business needs into high-quality Business Requirements and Functional Specifications documentation
 - Ensuring start-to-finish visibility of requirements is completed
 - Applying specific functional or business expertise to perform assigned tasks and develop specific project expectations
 - Reporting, tracking, and resolving issues related to data quality
 - Contributing to the design and planning of data conversion strategies
 - Completing project activities on time and within budget, and proactively identifying and communicating risks that may jeopardize achievements or project budget
 - Creating and distributing appropriate communication materials
 - Mentoring and advising less-experienced Business Analysts
 
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in business operations or consulting, working with data, business and data analysis, or data compromise
 - Ability to recognize complex issues versus goals and apply creativity to analyze situations, develop solutions and strategies
 - Ability to work with all levels of management
 - Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite applications, including Excel
 - Reliable transportation and willingness to travel in-state up to 10% of the time
 - Residency in Oklahoma
 
Preferred qualifications include:
- Healthcare or managed care industry experience
 - Medicaid experience
 - Project management experience
 - Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, written, and presentation
 - Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships
 - Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks with excellent results quickly
