Comedy Writer Wanted for AI Sitcom Reels with Talking Pets!!
PetLovers Pawffice – Writer Role Overview
Project Name: PetLovers Pawffice
Format: AI-photo realistic sketch comedy series for short form platforms
Tone: Chaotic, heartfelt, satirical workplace humor — like The Office meets Zootopia
Length: 45-90 seconds in length
Frequency: 4 episodes/week to start
The Premise
The PetLovers Pawffice is a workplace comedy short form series set in an absurd alternate universe where dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes run an e-commerce business (PetLovers) selling lint rollers and eventually other pet products. There's just one human, Kyle, who handles all the tasks the animals legally can’t (like opening a bank account). The office is filled with chaos, ego, and misguided but loveable efforts to build a brand with paws.
Initially we’d like to start with two characters, Jax a Siberian husky, & Theo a golden retriever both of which are currently Kyle the Founder’s beloved dogs and PetLovers mascots. Later we can introduce Kyle & many other pets as coworkers.

Ideal candidates have:
- Love for pets (Of course!)

Production Snapshot
- Episodes are animated using AI video tools (photorealistic dogs & cats)
- Visual generation handled by a separate creator (sample photo below)
If you can write dialogue between a Siberian Husky CEO and a Golden Retriever CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) who only approves snack-related expenses, I want to hear from you!!
Here’s a sample of a script I wrote, I was thinking about doing a “podcast” style which is what the sample is but decided against it as I think we can be much more creative, original, and entertaining if we have a dynamic office background where the characters can act out infinite situations:

More Info on PetLovers
Back in late 2022, we started making short-form content with Jax & Theo. Our TikTok took off with millions of views per month relatively quickly, but I ended up hitting pause. The growth was there, but the internal culture wasn’t, and I made some tough but necessary changes. Now, after a quiet rebuild and some fun AI tests the past couple months, we’re finally ready to do it right.
Since we mostly sell on Amazon, our website’s About Us hasn’t been updated in a while and doesn’t reflect our current 8-person team or Theo, who became a huge part of the company (and my life) when I brought him home in December 2022. We’re a lean team who are excited to bring this new universe to life with the right creative partners.
