Position Overview:
We are seeking a Program Support Assistant to handle key administrative and communication tasks for our coding bootcamp and registered apprenticeship program. This part-time, remote role with future potential for full-time employment. A key function of this position is to provide dedicated, hands-on guidance to pre-qualified candidates, helping them navigate the enrollment and funding process with government agencies and Local Workforce Boards. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and an excellent communicator, capable of managing multiple processes to ensure a smooth and supportive experience for every applicant.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
-Assist prospective students and apprentices, responding to inquiries via email, chat, and phone.
-Guide candidates through the application process, from sending information packets to processing final enrollment paperwork.
-Manage the application process for adding our programs to state Eligible Training Provider Lists (ETPL).
-Prepare and submit ongoing progress reports for students and apprentices to ensure compliance with state and funding partners.
-Coordinate and schedule interviews, orientation sessions, and other key appointments.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applicants and enrolled participants in our CRM and databases.
-Handle general administrative duties, including email correspondence, digital file management, and online research.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications):
Required:
-Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, especially with paperwork and data.
-Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Self-starter attitude with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
-Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets).
-Access to a private, quiet workspace and a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Preferred (Bonus Points):
-Previous experience in an administrative, data entry, or customer service role.
-Experience with application processes, government paperwork, or compliance reporting is a huge plus.
-Experience with email outreach campaigns.
Compensation & Schedule:
Position: Part-Time, 20-30 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible schedule within standard US business hours
Bonus each successfully completed student or apprentice enrollment paperwork.
