LMS Specialist

We are looking for an experienced LMS Specialist to help our client for a REMOTE role. This role focuses on managing and enhancing eLearning platforms, particularly Schoox, while providing technical and customer support to staff. As a long-term contract position, the ideal candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of effective learning solutions for a non-profit organization. Responsibilities: • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Schoox learning management system, ensuring efficient management of workflows, permissions, and system settings. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the LMS, assisting staff with course completion, certificate access, and related challenges. • Design and manage in-person and virtual training courses, learning paths, and tutorials to meet organizational needs. • Oversee the integration of e-learning content from external providers, including importing courses, managing permissions, and building out new platform features. • Create and distribute announcements and updates within the LMS to ensure effective communication of training opportunities. • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to develop and manage training materials and reports. • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements to existing e-learning structures. • Provide exceptional customer service to address staff inquiries and support their learning experience. • Work with instructional design software, such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, to create engaging e-learning modules. Qualifications: • Extensive experience with the Schoox learning management system, including advanced configuration and troubleshooting. • Proficiency in instructional design and e-learning module development using tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Demonstrated ability to manage and support learning management systems effectively. • Familiarity with e-learning service providers and importing content into LMS platforms. • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on resolving technical and user-related issues. • Experience designing and delivering virtual and in-person training programs. • Knowledge of instructional systems design and best practices in e-learning solutions.
