Application Evaluator (Temporary, Remote)
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Evaluate applicant candidacy through application review in relation to evaluation criteria.
- Write decision recommendations with clear rationales.
- Orally present application review to a team of individuals including senior leadership.
- Complete application evaluations accurately and in a timely manner following a pre-determined applicant flow.
- Understand and maintain strict confidentiality of admissions process and application data.
- Requirements
- A college degree (BA or higher) is necessary.
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and maintain strict confidentiality of admissions process and application data.
- Demonstrated ability to function independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to learn new CRM system.
- Commitment to work an average of 10 hours a week and up to 20 hours a week during peak periods.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a field with exposure to pre-MBA or post-MBA roles, or knowledge of MBA career paths.
- Knowledge of Owen Graduate School of Management and familiarity with programs.
- Experience in enrollment management, admissions, interviewing or on hiring committees.
- Experience with SLATE is a plus.
