Production Worker

Job Summary: The Production/Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging energy conductor components in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Key Responsibilities: • Assemble electrical conductor products and sub-assemblies using hand tools, machines, and production equipment • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and wiring diagrams • Perform quality checks on completed units and components • Operate machinery and tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, presses, and torque drivers • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with safety regulations • Document production data and report any defects or discrepancies • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines • Assist in inventory control and materials handling as needed Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, especially in electrical/mechanical products • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs • Basic math, measurement, and computer skills • Strong communication and teamwork abilities Working Conditions: • Manufacturing floor environment; exposure to machinery, noise, and standard industrial hazards • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided and required • Shift work and overtime may be required based on production needs Company DescriptionIf you are looking for a job in Houston Northwest, look no further than AtWork.
