The Boulder County Board of Equalization is seeking an energetic and positive Temporary Office Assistant- Board of Equalization to perform a variety of administrative support tasks up to 40 hours a week. The positions will entail both basic and high level administrative functions.
This is a hourly, non-benefitted position with an anticipated end date of November 3, 2023. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. This position will work at the Boulder Main Courthouse located at 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, Colorado. Under FLSA guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Range : $23.00 - $24.00 Hourly
Tentative Hiring Timeline:
• Phone Screening: weekly until filled
• First Round Interviews: weekly until filled
• Reference Checks: weekly until filled
Examples of Duties
• Assisting the public in person, over the phone and email
• Providing information and referring individuals to appropriate staff
• Using computer software for data input and processing reports
• Maintaining electronic files
• Proofing and indexing documents
• Operating various office equipment
• Completing and processing reports and forms
• Checking and verifying information to various electronic records
• Opening, sorting, and scanning mail appeals into software
• Performs related work, as required
• May be reassigned during emergency situations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Boulder County is looking for well qualified candidates to fill our positions. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of general administrative or clerical experience. Additional related education may count towards required experience.

Experience with Microsoft Teams or virtual meeting room software preferred
