Sr Instructional Design Manager
About the position
Responsibilities
• Lead the analysis, design, and development of complex training and performance support solutions.
• Support the implementation, delivery, and evaluation of training solutions.
• Establish rapport with SMEs and stakeholders to understand needs and align solutions.
• Collaborate to document and publish internal processes and standards.
• Use training evaluation data to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
Requirements
• 13+ years of experience in learning and development or performance improvement, with a minimum of 5 years managing projects.
• Extensive knowledge of adult learning theory and needs assessment techniques.
• Strong experience in analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing technical and non-technical training.
• Ability to use a learning management system for managing and reporting learning data.
• Experience in developing project plans and schedules.
Nice-to-haves
• Manufacturing experience, particularly in an automation environment.
• Medical device industry experience, especially in supporting audits.
• Degrees in training, learning and development, or human performance improvement.
• Project management certification or comparable experience.
• Behavioral assessment certification (e.g., The Predictive Index, DiSC).
