Outbound Call Center Rep - Remote
About the position
Responsibilities
• Make an average of 50 outbound calls per hour using an automatic dialer system to schedule healthcare evaluations.
• Follow 20+ approved scripts to ensure members understand the terms and respond to rebuttals professionally.
• Present a positive and high-energy approach to clients and team members.
• Meet daily departmental goals, including 300-400 outbound dials and 24 appointments set per day.
• Adjust, reschedule, and cancel appointments as requested by members and providers.
• Monitor performance results using designated reporting systems.
• Report member complaints and escalations to Member Engagement Managers immediately.
• Participate in peer coaching as needed.
• Follow HIPAA and other security guidelines when handling protected health information.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
• Experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with Medicare or Medicaid health plans.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
