Healthcare Growth Strategist (Business Development and Operations Lead for Wellness Startup)

The Role:
We’re seeking a Healthcare Growth Strategist to help start our new integrative medical practice from the ground up and scale our existing wellness programs and digital infrastructure. You’ll be instrumental in building the foundational systems of the practice while driving growth for our online community, courses, and corporate programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategy and execution for launching the new medical practice, including patient acquisition, operational workflows, and partnership development
Co-create and implement growth strategies for online offerings: webinars, assessments, memberships, and corporate wellness programs
Analyze data and optimize funnels, marketing channels, and retention strategies
Advise on integrating clinical systems (CRM, EMR, automation) that comply with healthcare regulations
Collaborate closely with our physician-founder to ensure clinical integrity and patient-centered care remain central to all growth efforts
You Are:
Experienced in healthcare or wellness business development, marketing, or operations
Familiar with medical practice startups or clinic launches as well as scaling digital health or wellness programs
Passionate about functional medicine, burnout recovery, or integrative wellness
Comfortable wearing multiple hats—strategic, operational, creative
Data-driven, with an ability to humanize metrics into meaningful patient and client experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience launching or scaling a concierge medical practice, functional medicine clinic, or wellness startup
Familiarity with tools like ActiveCampaign, Mighty Networks, Charm EMR, Fullscript
Strong understanding of HIPAA-compliant digital marketing and patient privacy
Established network in the corporate wellness or integrative health space is a plus
Compensation:
Competitive monthly retainer ($2,000-$3,500). Possible performance-based profit sharing opportunity at end of project for ongoing engagement. Flexible hours; approximately 10–15 hours/week to start.
