Virtual Learning Designer – E-learning Modules
Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking a creative and technically skilled Virtual Learning Designer to develop engaging, interactive, and impactful e-learning modules for a variety of professional training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning technologies, and will work closely with subject matter experts to transform traditional content into compelling digital learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement high-quality e-learning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
• *
Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and content developers to create learner-centered digital experiences.
• *
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design theories to ensure content is engaging and pedagogically sound.
• *
Develop visual and interactive elements such as quizzes, simulations, animations, and infographics.
• *
Conduct needs analysis and learner assessments to ensure effective training outcomes.
• *
Maintain and update existing online learning content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
• *
Test courses for functionality, accessibility, and usability across devices and platforms.
• *
Ensure SCORM-compliance and smooth integration with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *
Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or related field.
• *
Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
• *
Solid understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
• *
Experience working with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS, LearnDash).
• *
Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
• *
Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
• *
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Experience
• *
Minimum 2 years of experience in instructional design, digital content development, or a related field.

Prior experience working on e-learning projects in corporate training, education, or freelance environments is preferred.
• Working Hours
• *
Flexible working schedule; core collaboration hours between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM IST.
• *
Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) roles available.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong grasp of adult learning theories and principles.
• *
Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS, or JavaScript (preferred but not required).

Ability to create content for diverse learners across industries.
• *
Skilled in using media editing tools (audio/video/image editing software).

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to feedback quickly.
