About the position Responsibilities • Creating client strategies for Data & AI infrastructure. • Defining IBM Data & AI solutions that enhance technology stacks. • Providing proof of concepts and simplifying complex topics to educate clients. • Establishing credibility and trust to facilitate the closure of intricate Cloud tech deals. Requirements • Multiple years of previous experience in a Technical Sales/Solution Consultant/Sales Engineer role. • Strong proficiency and understanding of SQL. • Knowledge of databases (DB2, SQLServer, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.). • Experience working with the sales lifecycle and driving customer outcomes. • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills at all levels of an organization. • Driven and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence in everything they do. • Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with peers and clients. Nice-to-haves • Experience with IBM Data Management solutions (IBM DB2 Family, Cloudera, Netezza Performance Server, etc.). • Competitive product experience a plus (Microsoft, Snowflake, AWS and Oracle).
