Meritus Gas Partners, a growing national group of gas and welding supply distributors, is seeking a Director of Back Office Operations to join their team. This is a remote position where you will be responsible for driving the consolidation of Meritus Gas Partners entire family of independent operating companies into a single ERP system as well as ownership of the virtual back office while building out a virtual shared services offering that can rapidly onboard future acquisitions. Minimum qualifications: • BS degree in finance, accounting, information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience in an administrative/back-office leadership role • Experience with Computers Unlimited (CU) TIMS software a plus • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking • Experience leading large IT projects accompanied by significant work process changes Responsibilities: • Day to day responsibilities include: • Ensure that normal business operations are fully functional including but not limited to: invoices are going out, cash is being applied, bills are being paid, inventory is being controlled, credit card transactions are happening normally, etc. • Ensure CU modules are secure and backed up, jobs are running when they’re supposed to, and users have the access they need • Ensure that integration with Nutshell CRM is functioning properly • Ensure that integration with PandaDoc (or similar) is functioning properly • Ensure that Power Automate applications are functioning properly • PowerBI reporting data is being fed correctly • Disaster recovery system and processes • Training materials • Onboarding responsibilities include: • Manage the onboarding queue of existing Meritus partners and any newly acquired businesses • Manage the CU resources involved • Use continuous improvement to ramp up onboarding time • Complete onboarding of existing partners by end of 2026 • Develop process to onboard new acquisitions within 60-90 days of closing • Assist in the CU consolidation project in 2025-2026 as directed • Assist in the Ecommerce and ACM projects in 2026-2027 as directed • Drive the development of enhancements across the entire enterprise system, including BI, operations, ecommerce, telemetry, telematics, etc. • Own the strategy, budget, etc. for the entire suite of back office applications • Maintain primary relationship with CU • Other duties as assigned About the Company: Meritus Gas Partners is building a national group of gas and welding supply distributors.
