Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Community Health Consultant
                                Overview
My name is Emmanuel L. Rock, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Northeast Alabama Clinical Services, LLC. I started this practice because I know what it’s like to grow up in a place where mental health isn’t talked about, let alone treated. I lost my 10-year-old nephew, Jeremiah, to childhood depression, and that loss changed everything. I made a promise that I would never miss the signs again—not in a child, not in a family, not in a community. That promise became a purpose. That purpose became this practice.
Northeast Alabama Clinical Services was built for people who are tired of waiting, tired of being priced out, and tired of systems that don’t reflect the reality of their lives. I offer accessible, affordable, and culturally competent mental health care—because support should never be a luxury. I serve individuals, families, schools, churches, and organizations across Alabama, providing both therapy and mental health consulting. Whether it’s grief, ADHD, trauma, burnout, or life circumstances no one else seems to understand—I help people who feel stuck finally move forward.
Duties
As a mental health support provider and consultant, I offer a combination of clinical and community-facing services designed to remove barriers to care. My work includes:
• Providing individual and family counseling for children, teens, and adults experiencing ADHD, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and behavior-related challenges.
• Offering low-cost, sliding scale sessions (starting at $25) for families in need of affordable therapy.
• Delivering virtual telehealth sessions across Alabama and in-person services in the Anniston, Lincoln, and Oxford areas.
• Creating flexible scheduling options—including evenings and weekends—to accommodate real-life demands.
• Consulting with schools, churches, nonprofits, and medical providers to develop trauma-informed strategies and workshops.
• Leading grief groups, parenting workshops, professional development trainings, and mental health education sessions.
• Utilizing AI and technology to streamline client intake, scheduling, and communication, ensuring fast access to care without administrative delays.
• Advocating for underserved and rural communities by making counseling services accessible without long waitlists or excessive costs.
Skills & Core Strengths
I bring more than just credentials to this work—I bring a lived experience that fuels my empathy, my urgency, and my commitment to doing things differently. My key skills and values include:
• Licensed Clinical Expertise: I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of experience in inpatient psychiatry, education systems, nonprofit work, and private practice.
• Youth and Family Mental Health Specialization: Deep focus on treating children and adolescents with ADHD, trauma, grief, and behavior challenges—alongside family-based interventions.
• Cultural Competency: As an African American male therapist, I provide representation, trust, and a culturally sensitive approach for clients who often feel unseen or misunderstood in traditional therapy spaces.
• Community-Focused Consulting: Skilled in partnering with schools, churches, and organizations to design and deliver workshops, trainings, and strategies that address mental health in real-world environments.
• Flexibility and Accessibility: Therapy on your terms—affordable, timely, and responsive to life’s messiness, not confined to office hours and insurance red tape.
• Tech-Enabled Systems: Use of AI tools and automation allows clients and partners to connect with care faster, without sacrificing quality or personal touch.
• Mission-Driven Service: This isn’t a business built to scale—it’s built to serve. I bring consistency, compassion, and clinical strength to every client and partnership.
If you are a parent looking for immediate support for your child, a school leader needing help with student mental health, or a community partner seeking a speaker, trainer, or referral resource—you don’t have to keep searching. I built this practice for people like you.
