Healthcare Customer Care Representative – Remote
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time | Training: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time)
• Remote/Work-From-Home AFTER 6 weeks of on-site training in San Antonio, TX
• Pay Rate: $19 per hour
• Contract-to-Hire Opportunity with a Fortune 500 Healthcare Organization
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound calls from members regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order pharmacy benefits.
• Clearly explain pharmacy benefit plans, helping members understand their coverage and available options.
• Provide solutions to simplify members’ healthcare experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Manage multiple call types and clients, adapting to business needs in a fast-changing environment.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills through courteous phone etiquette and clear communication.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service (call center, retail, hospitality, military, or related).
• Proficiency using Windows-based computer applications.
• Ability to provide patient, empathetic, and confident support to customers.
• Reliable attendance and adherence to scheduling standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months of healthcare or pharmacy-related experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
