Senior Director, Sales - Commerce Platform
About the position
Responsibilities
• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution across sales initiatives for the Commerce Platform.
• Oversee a leadership bench with multiple layers and support a growing team of specialized sales professionals.
• Transform the sales process and refine strategies to optimize performance.
• Execute strategic sales initiatives to exceed company goals.
• Collaborate with GMs, Product teams, and other internal partners to elevate offerings.
• Motivate and develop team members to maximize performance and engagement.
• Learn from merchant interactions to build processes that improve their experience.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and make strategic decisions for product offerings.
Requirements
• 8+ years of sales leadership experience (Director+), with a mix of Mid-Market, SMB, and Enterprise experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a second/third-line leader managing multiple layers of sales leadership.
• Deep understanding of SaaS platforms, products, and integrations with technology ecosystems.
• Proven ability to build, scale, and optimize teams within a platform SaaS model.
• Extensive experience partnering cross-functionally to drive cohesion and success against sales initiatives.
• Experience building multidimensional sales teams and establishing aligned goals.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
