They must understand the job duties including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, working in close quarters, working in extreme heat and cold as they transition from the walk-in to the cook line, taking trash, and other cleaning work that will require them to lift up to 30 pounds. Dishwashers work extensively with mechanized cutting, slicing and mixing equipment and hot cooking appliance such as ovens, dishwasher equipment, ranges and steamers. This position may work in hot, close quarters for extended periods, with occasional entrance to refrigerated storage areas. This position requires employees to lift up to 30 pounds with frequent bending, stooping and twisting.
