Retail Cashier (In-Store Sales and Customer Service)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle payments for all store transactions.
• Reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits at the end of each shift.
• Greet and assist customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
• Utilize sales skills to upsell and cross-sell AAA products, including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
Requirements
• Minimum of two (2) years of sales and customer service experience, particularly in a cash handling position.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.
• Proficiency in computer skills and ability to navigate multiple websites and programs in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and state/vendor specific screenings.
