Program Assistant (Spanish Speaker)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Prioritize front-line communication with prospective and current clients, focusing on Spanish-speaking clients.
• Provide high-quality legal services, including eligibility screening and case updates.
• Assist in planning and executing virtual and in-person citizenship workshops.
• Manage data tracking and reporting after citizenship workshops and for general database maintenance.
• Collaborate with the Program Team to update and maintain database systems and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of applicable experience or some post-high school coursework.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Expert attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with diverse individuals.
• Demonstrated independence and ability to take initiative.
Nice-to-haves
• Proficiency in another language such as Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Arabic is a plus.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Suite is highly preferred.
