AS400 Developer with Synon

Job Title: AS400 Developer with Synon Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Employment Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in Synon (Cool:2E). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting applications on the IBM iSeries (AS400) platform. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and support applications using AS400 and Synon (Cool:2E) • Perform coding, testing, and debugging of existing applications • Work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues • Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation Required Skills: • Strong experience with AS400/iSeries development • Hands-on expertise in Synon (Cool:2E) • Proficiency in RPG/RPGLE, CL, DB2/400 • Good communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment Nice to Have: • Experience with SQL, ILE concepts • Familiarity with modernization projects or integration with web services Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
