About the Position Seeking a graduate degree is a major life decision and involves key choices and challenges. In this role, Advisors will engage one-on-one both in meetings and via email to support students in developing their personal goals and professional vision. This role requires a deep understanding of Meridian’s programs which is developed through our staff onboarding process. Classification: Full Time Location: Hybrid (In-Person/Remote) at Meridian University's Los Angeles Center in Santa Monica Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or higher • Experience providing one-to-one services around life goals and career development • Ability to recognize the unique needs of each individual and provide a personalized advising experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • A go-getter attitude • Strong attention to detail • Excellent time-management, and project-management skills • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability • Ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with Salesforce • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 programs (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) Job Responsibilities: • One-to-one coaching and advising of students and prospective students • Event/webinar coordination • Project management About Meridian University Founded 30 years ago in the San Francisco Bay Area, Meridian University enrolls students globally in its unique hybrid and 100% online graduate degree, certificate, and public programs.
