About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide supervision and management support for full-time professional employees, including recruitment, selection, training, and performance management.
• Develop solutions to complex situations and monitor trends to modify existing programs or initiate new initiatives.
• Identify and implement appropriate technologies to deliver effective services to student communities.
• Maintain relationships with the campus community and national organizations to support underserved student populations.
• Design and lead training modules for new staff and campus professionals.
• Oversee program operations, including onboarding new staff and managing counseling models.
• Assist staff in handling complex student cases and develop program goals and objectives.
• Collect and analyze participant data to evaluate the impact of services.
Requirements
• Demonstrated competencies in multicultural counseling and human development theories.
• Advanced knowledge of research methodologies and designs.
• Experience working with historically underrepresented ethnic minority communities and first-generation college students.
• Knowledge of methodologies to enhance student achievement and effective counseling strategies.
• Extensive experience in multicultural competencies and crisis intervention.
Nice-to-haves
• Master's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
