Contract Remote English Tutor — U.S. Elementary Schools

Many children in the United States read below grade level. This role seeks dedicated teachers to provide structured, high-quality online reading instruction to K-6 students to support literacy development. We offer a flexible schedule, professional development opportunities, and a referral program. • Teach reading classes via Zoom to groups of up to four students in 30- or 40-minute sessions. • Be available during school and after-school hours; most classes are scheduled between early morning and late afternoon, Monday through Friday. • Follow a provided curriculum with clear lesson directions. • Provide regular feedback on student progress and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment. Student levels: Pre-K through 6th grade, with a primary emphasis on K-3 reading and phonics instruction. • Bachelor's degree or higher; degrees in education, English, or literacy-related fields preferred. • Experience teaching reading, ESL, and phonics in early elementary grades. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish speakers are a plus. • Proficiency with Zoom and educational technologies. • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
