Job Description :
Skill Set : Oracle PL/SQL and Shell scripting - Unix or Linux
We are looking for a skilled PL/SQL Oracle Developer to develop and optimize database solutions. You will be responsible for writing efficient PL/SQL code, tuning queries, and supporting database applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Perform SQL query optimization, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate recurring tasks and batch jobs.
- Monitor and maintain database applications ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Work with cross-functional teams (DBAs, Developers, System Admins) for seamless delivery.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
- Strong expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting (Bash, Korn, etc.).
- Experience with database design and relational concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skill
