This is a 10-month position, starting August 21st, for 6 hours a day, Monday - Friday. This is a 1 to 1 position to support for one student.
Qualifications:
Job related experience is desired
Targeted, job-related education with study in a job-related area
Bi-lingual Spanish speaking a plus
Illinois Educator License with Stipulations (Para), Substitute Teaching License or Professional Educator License required
Compensation and Benefits:(2025-2026 school year)
Minimum starting salary with a license - $26,973.90

Information on obtaining a paraprofessional license can be found on the ISBE website - click here for link. Also attached is an ISBE checklist for applying for a license. ISBE offers a short-approval para professional license for those with a high school diploma (or equivalent), which is good for 3 years while completing the requirements for a full paraprofessional license.
