Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Behavior Therapist - ABA to join our growing team in Chattanooga, TN. As a Behavior Therapist - ABA, you will have the opportunity to work with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, providing one-on-one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs. Job Responsibilities
As a Behavior Therapist - ABA, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.
- Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Conducting discrete trials, implementing behavior support, and treatment plans under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor.
- Working collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
- Being responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
- Maintaining professionalism in all aspects of your work, including arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred.
- Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting.
- 1-year ABA Experience (or equivalent experience in a related field).
- If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle.
Physical Requirements
As a Behavior Therapist - ABA, you will need to be able to:
- Lift up to 35lbs.
- Perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
- Respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
